Product Introduction:

HQ-6380 is a high-efficiency thickener specially developed to replace cellulose products according to the characteristics of domestic Chinese market. It is an eco-friendly rheology modifier featuring low toxicity, low odor, free of heavy metal compounds and APEO components.

Application Fields:

Interior & exterior putty and mortar systems, tile adhesives and waterproof slurries, water-based architectural coatings, industrial anti-corrosion and floor coatings, adhesives and sealants, water-based inks and textile auxiliaries, etc. It is especially recommended for coatings with three-dimensional texture effects and stone texture coatings.

Usage & Dosage:

The dosage shall be determined based on customers’ formulation design; the recommended addition level ranges from 0.2% to 0.5% of total formula mass.

Performance Features:

Delivers dual high-efficiency thickening via associative thickening and aqueous-phase thickening simultaneously;

Extremely high pseudoplastic rheology, excellent sag resistance and anti-settling performance;

Outstanding viscosity build at medium and low shear with minor viscosity loss upon water dilution during application;

Remarkable thickening power. Compared with conventional alkali-swellable thickeners and cellulose thickeners, it offers superior thickening and anti-splashing performance while lowering formulation cost;

Free of hazardous APEO and heavy metal components, low-toxicity and low-odor for safe handling, and does not raise VOC content of water-based latex paints.

 

Packaging, Storage & Transportation:

Packed in 25 KG / 1000 KG plastic drums. The shelf life is 24 months from production date when stored in unopened original containers at 5℃ to 40℃.
