Product Introduction:

HQ-6080 is an eco-friendly water-based associative thickener that delivers high-efficiency thickening in aqueous phase through the synergistic effect of intermolecular hydrogen bonds and hydrophobic association. It exhibits remarkable shear-thinning behavior, enabling dual regulation of high-shear and low-shear viscosity to meet industrial-grade rheology requirements. This product is non-toxic, odorless, non-corrosive and non-flammable, classified as an eco-friendly water-based additive.

Application Fields:

Architectural coatings, industrial coatings, pigment printing pastes, fabric coatings, water-based adhesives, gravure inks, etc.

Usage & Dosage:

The recommended dosage ranges from 0.2% to 2%, subject to customers’ customized formulation design.

Performance Features:

Multi-functionality: Widely applied in coatings, inks, adhesives and other fields; improves leveling, anti-spattering property and thixotropy, and reduces brush marks and roller splashing;

High-efficiency thickening: Rapid thickening under low shear and stable viscosity under high shear with outstanding thixotropy;

Broad compatibility: Excellent compatibility with acrylic, styrene-acrylic and other emulsions, and pH-insensitive within pH range of 6–8.

 

Packaging, Storage & Transportation:

Packed in 50 KG / 1000 KG plastic drums. The shelf life is 24 months from production date when stored in unopened original containers at 5℃~40℃.
