Product Introduction:

HQ-2020 is a water-based liquid broad-spectrum biocidal preservative with divalent salt isothiazolinone as the core active ingredient, featuring a 3:1 ratio of CMI to MI. Its core advantage lies in balancing high-efficiency sterilization and environmental safety, focusing on powerful microbial control performance.

Application Fields:Water-based coatings, water-based adhesives, daily washing & care products, industrial circulating water treatment, textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries, papermaking industry, metalworking fluids and other industries.
Usage & Dosage:

The recommended dosage is 0.2–0.5%, subject to emulsion types and preservation requirements of finished products. Check the pH value of the system before use, and avoid residual reducing substances and nucleophilic substances in the system.

Appearance: Light blue transparent liquid with slight characteristic odor

Solubility (25℃): Soluble in water, low-molecular alcohols, ethylene glycol, etc.

 

Performance Features:

Low irritation, formaldehyde-free and zero-VOC (no volatile organic compounds) formula;

Effectively kills and inhibits common bacteria, fungi and algae in water systems;

Provides effective protection against microbial contamination at low dosage levels;

Foam-free, low-toxic and readily biodegradable in the environment, meeting industrial demands for eco-friendly and sustainable solutions;

Limited heat resistance, not applicable for systems requiring high-temperature processing or storage. It may cause skin sensitization to certain populations and decomposes gradually under high-pH conditions.

 

Packaging, Storage & Transportation:

Packed in 25 KG / 1000 KG plastic drums. The shelf life is 24 months from the production date when stored in unopened original containers at 5℃~40℃.
