Paraffin Emulsion HQ-9698

Paraffin Emulsion HQ-9698

Product Introduction:

HQ-9698 is a high-performance water-based paraffin wax emulsion. Its core advantage is delivering outstanding superhydrophobicity, smooth slip, scratch resistance and anti-blocking properties to waterborne systems. This product boasts excellent stability and can form films spontaneously at ambient temperature without risks of wax floating or coarsening. When incorporated into other waterborne resins, it greatly improves the comprehensive performance of coatings. When used together with non-film-forming emulsions, it also functions as a film-forming coalescent for versatile and wide application. The recommended dosage in coatings ranges from 3% to 50% based on the total formula weight. It must be fully pre-mixed and slowly added under gentle stirring at the final production stage to avoid foaming and incompatibility issues.

Application Fields:

Water-based wood coatings, water-based industrial coatings (e.g. metal protective coatings), water-based plastic coatings, water-based leather finishing agents, paper coatings, waterproof top protective coatings, and topcoat protective finishes for various artistic coatings.

Performance Features:

Delivers superhydrophobic property to effectively block water penetration;

Provides excellent slippery texture to improve surface hand feel of products, with outstanding scratch resistance to reduce surface scratches;

Remarkable anti-blocking effect prevents adhesion of products during storage and application;

Excellent film-forming performance; it can form films spontaneously at ambient temperature without extra additives, simplifying production processes and cutting energy consumption;

Stable emulsion system without wax floating or coarsening, ensuring consistent product quality;

Works synergistically with waterborne resins to greatly improve coating performance including water resistance, scratch resistance, anti-blocking property and surface smoothness;

When blended with non-film-forming emulsions, it acts as a film-forming coalescent to help form intact and continuous film layers.

Packaging, Storage & Transportation:

Packing specification: 50 KG / 1000 KG per drum. Store in a cool, dry and dark environment at 5~30℃ with packages kept intact. The shelf life is six months from the production date. Performance evaluation is recommended before use if the shelf life expires. The product must be protected from frost. It is recommended to finish all contents once the drum is opened.
