Product Overview:

NOPCO NXZ is a metal soap-based defoamer, widely applied in latexes, emulsions as well as coatings and adhesives formulated based on them.

Appearance: Light yellowish-brown turbid liquid

Viscosity (mPa·s): 170 at 25°C (see Figure 1 for reference)

                      2,200 at 5°C

pH Value: 5 (2 wt% aqueous dispersion)

Specific Gravity: 0.89 at 20°C

Dispersibility: Water-dispersible

Application Method:

The recommended dosage of NOPCO NXZ ranges from 0.1% to 0.5% based on the total weight of coatings.

NOPCO NXZ may separate after long-term storage; stir thoroughly before use.

NOPCO NXZ can be used directly or diluted with water. Stir well after dilution with water before application.

Operation Precautions:

Flammable when heated.

Use only in well-ventilated areas.

Wear protective goggles, gloves, respirator and other protective equipment during handling.

In case of skin contact, wash immediately with soapy water.

If splashed into eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.

If swallowed accidentally, seek immediate medical treatment.

Wash hands and gargle after operation.

The product may separate after long-term storage; stir thoroughly before use.

It will solidify or delaminate below 5°C. If stored under 5°C, heat to 30–40°C with warm water bath and mix completely prior to use.
