Product Overview:

TEXANOL Alcohol Ester 12 is an outstanding coalescing agent and the most effective film-forming auxiliary for emulsions. Its addition can gradually reduce the minimum film-forming temperature of emulsions with increasing dosage. TEXANOL (2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol monoisobutyrate) is especially suitable for various water-based systems including emulsions, latex paints and adhesives synthesized from (meth)acrylates, styrene and vinyl acetate. It delivers excellent film-forming performance, and the finished paints feature unique storage stability, leveling property and adhesion while boosting gloss. TEXANOL is widely applied in emulsions, adhesives, architectural coatings, agriculture and other industries.
