Sodium Salt Dispersant HQ-5040

Sodium Salt Dispersant HQ-5040

Product Introduction:

HQ-5040 is a sodium polycarboxylate dispersant that achieves an excellent balance among cost, manufacturing process and finished coating performance. It features low foaming tendency and improves coating flowability, with outstanding color acceptance, initial viscosity reduction during dispersion and long-term storage stability. It enables the preparation of stable low-viscosity slurries and delivers favorable freeze-thaw resistance.

Application Fields:

Water-based systems including architectural coatings, industrial coatings, pigment & filler slurries, coated paper coatings, water-based adhesives, water-based inks, etc.

Usage & Dosage:

Recommended dosage: 0.1–1.0% relative to the mass of pigments and fillers (solid-to-solid basis). Add the dispersant into water and blend fully, then charge pigments under stirring, followed by dispersion and grinding processes.
